Classes to Fit Your Budget and Lifestyle

We offer a variety of classes covering numerous styles of Ballroom Dance. Some of our classes include:

• Cha Cha -This is a fun, flirty dance that grew out of the Cuban Mambo and became immensely popular in the United States in the 1950’s. It consists of triple chasse steps (cha cha cha’s) and rock steps.
• Nightclub Two Step - The dance is also known as “Two Step” and was one of the most popular forms of contemporary social dance as a Disco Couples Dance in 1978. It is frequently danced to mid-tempo ballads in 4/4 time that have a characteristic Quick-Quick-Slow beat.
• Waltz – The waltz is a smooth, progressive ballroom dance normally in triple time, performed primarily in closed position.
• Latin Hustle – The Hustle is a catchall name for some disco dances which were extremely popular in the 1970s. Today it mostly refers to the unique partner dance done in ballrooms and nightclubs to disco music.
• East Coast Swing – East Coast Swing has very simple structure and footwork along with basic moves and styling. It is popular for its simple nature and is often danced to slow, medium, or fast tempo jazz, blues, or rock and roll.
• West Coast Swing – West Coast Swing is a partner dance with roots in Lindy Hop. It is characterized by a distinctive elastic look that results from its basic extension-compression technique of partner connection, and is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. The dance allows for both partners to improvise steps while dancing together, putting West Coast Swing in a short list of dances that put a premium on improvisation.
• Tango – The tango is a sensual ballroom dance that originated in South America in the early twentieth century.
• Foxtrot – The foxtrot is a smooth, progressive dance characterized by long, continuous flowing movements across the dance floor. The dance is similar in its look to waltz, although the rhythm is in a 4/4 time signature instead of 3/4.

Private Lessons

These lessons are perfect if you want an individualized dance experience. Whether you are getting married, renewing your vows, having an anniversary party, or just want to learn how to dance, we can customize the instruction to you. If you have a space that you would like to use for private lessons (i.e., your house), I am happy to come to you.

Private Group Lessons

These lessons are designed to give you a more intimate experience than the Group Lessons and allow you to learn with your friends or family. Perfect for wedding parties, families, or friends. Have an evening dance party and dance the night away. If you have a space that you would like to use for private group lessons (i.e., your house), I am happy to come to you.

Group Lessons

Due to COVID-19, all group lessons have been temporarily postponed.
